The "Five Nights at Freddy’s" Fortnite crossover event has been announced
The long-awaited collaboration between Five Nights at Freddy’s and Fortnite is coming to players as part of the Fortnitemares event.
With the release of a new trailer shared by Epic Games, it has been officially confirmed that the Five Nights at Freddy’s series will be making a guest appearance in the popular battle royale game. This collaboration, which players have been requesting for a long time, will play a major role in the annual Fortnitemares event, which begins on October 11.
What’s in store for the Fortnitemares event?
According to the released trailer, this collaboration won’t be limited to just content added to the shop. The elements and details that will appear on the map throughout the event are as follows:
- The characters Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy will appear in the game throughout the event.
- Players will be able to visit a special area on the map called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.
- The four famous animatronics will appear as bosses in this special location.
- It’s noted that as players take damage during matches, the appearance of their costumes may change to reflect the worn-out designs from the series.
It has not yet been fully explained how the animatronics that appear as bosses will be controlled after they are defeated, nor have all the mechanics of the system been revealed.
